    Lavender came from the Provence - Drôme - French department in the west of the country, in the Rhône - Alpes region.     Lavender is planted by hand. 13,000 seedlings are needed to plant 1 hectare.

    Lavender fields in Provence bloom from June to July. After the first flowering in early July, lavender bouquets are cut with a special saw. The cut bouquets are left to dry in the fields for 4-5 days. They are then collected and stored until winter. During the cold season, they are cleaned, calibrated and prepared for export.
