Candle making Tips&Tricks

  • Candle making Tips&Tricks
    • Do not overheat the wax above the recommended temperature, as the wax will lose color, as well as possible changes in the crystallization process
    • Always pour the fragrant oil just before wax is bottled or molded, as the oil evaporates and loses part of its properties
    • When working with essential oils, it is not recommended to pour the oil into wax at a temperature of more than 59 degrees, because the oil evaporates and loses some of its properties
    • Stir the paint in a separate bowl, adding some wax to it. After mixing, add the paint to the total mass of wax immediately before bottling.
    • You will reach the optimum bottling temperature for your products by experimenting
    • The containers or shapes must be properly prepared during the filling - clean and at room temperature or slightly higher.
    • To achieve a nice wax adhesion to the glass walls and obtain a smooth surface of the candle, let the candles cool as slowly as possible.
    • To obtain the optimal combustion result, let the candles stand for at least 48 hours.
    • Do not use copper or brass tools and utensils when working with vegetable wax, as copper and brass will change the color of the wax.
    • Lower wax melting temperature allows you to improve the adhesion of the jar to wax and helps to avoid wet spots
