Bioglitter™ uses sustainably and ethically sourced natural and plant-based materials as its base. All Bioglitter™ products have been scientifically proven to be biodegradable through independent ISO14851 and ISO14852 freshwater testing for all Bioglitter™ products.
Although Bioglitter™ mica has the same appearance as plastic mica, it is made from natural materials, mainly eucalyptus cellulose, and is biodegradable in the natural environment, so its use in waxes may require a little more care - it is important not to overheat the wax, to add it to the wax, or to sprinkle the candles or wax melts at the end of the production.
