Candles with these natural wood wicks emit a gentle aroma of burning wood, do not  perform smoke and form a beautiful flame.

The burning quality of a wooden wick is affected by:

• type and quality of mixture (soy wax/paraffin with scents/dyes) each wax/scent mixture is a different chemical mixture and burns differently.
• container shape
• fragrance compositions and dye content
• wick length

Recommendations:

• The wooden wicks should be shortened approximately 3-6 mm above the wax each time the candle is lit.
• It is worth impregnating a wooden wick, e.g. in soy wax, from which candles are made.
• A wooden wick takes longer to burn properly. You can light a newly made candle only after 24-48 hours. If you light it too soon, the wick may not burn.
• If holes appear in the surface of the candle, after the candle has completely cooled, add a small amount of wax or heat the top layer with a dryer to fill the wax gaps. This is necessary for the candle to burn properly.
• If there is a problem with burning the wick, it is recommended to use two wicks by pressing them together.

Attention, burning wooden wicks can change the color of some waxes, this is normal!
